To enter, go to the preferences menu (under options) and press R1 and L1 simultaneously to bring up the "PASSCODE" entry option. Use the directional buttons to enter the letters. When finished press the "X" button to enable. 

SLOW_MO_ON Runs game at half speed 
LO_GRAV_ON Reduces gravity 
RAISE_THEM Turns player invincible
